These are the love letters I am writing to my family in Wisconsin, while I am here in northern California. It's a way for us to stay connected at a click of the mouse.

The Weather Outside is Frightful
No, it's not snow, but it sounds like the ocean is in my backyard. It's the wind and the rain and it's brrrrrr cold!!! (45 degrees but feels like 36, according to the weather report)
"Some people may have thought this book was too personal, too confessional. But what these people think about me is none of my business." ~Anne Lamott. This is me, this is my life, and it is personal. Welcome to my blog. I write it for you (and for me too).
This is how it works: You're young until you're not, you love until you don't, you try until you can't, you laugh until you cry, you cry until you laugh, and everyone must breathe until their dying breath.
No, this is how it works: You peer inside yourself, you take the things you like, and try to love the things you took, and then you take that love you made, and stick it into someone else's heart, pumping someone else's blood, and walking arm in arm, you hope it don't get harmed, but even if it does, you'll just do it all again. - "On the Radio" by Regina Spektor
